Micheal Ricer is a producer from Las Vegas, Nevada. Mike currently operates his businesses from Boise, Id. The two businesses that mike operate are Smoked Out Records and Emanon Designs, which is a graphic designs and promotions company. He has been producing for 15 years in which he has worked with a number of different artists. Mike produced and performed on many stages and concerts. As a producer he has been instrumental in developing artist to become proficient at their craft. The objective is to create a brand that is marketable through the eyes of the potential future artist and the people or fans that support them. Every artist that starts up has a dream of becoming a professional artist that is compensated for his or her works. There are many things that the artist can accomplish without assistance, but most do not know anything about artist development and marketing strategies. The first thing is to find out who you are and what do you offer. It is important to create a key phase or slogan that is clear and easy to say. Next you will need to create a logo and promote your interest.
Sometimes in the process of music, there are a number of artists that the producer will be working with. In order to create a professional relationship between artist and producers, it is necessary to sometimes separate the artist from the problem. For example, if a producer makes the beat to a song and the artist for whom it was created later does not have funds to pay for the mixing or mastering, production may come to a stand still. At this point, the producer has to separate the person from the problem in order for negotiations to resume. Although, the leverage and power is usual held by the producer in the situation, it is more beneficial to deal with negative emotions first, so both side have a chance to listen to the other side’s point of view to manage mutual benefit. Although, all producers may not operate as Mike does, he feels that the business would benefit more if everyone could benefit. You can contact mike at emanondesigns@gmail.com or smoked out kid
